Any help would be appreciated i'm struggling with this too ... i want to have it so google checkout is the only payment method. I installed the contribution but when u click the google checkout button it just refreshes the page.. Now i'm looking into responsehandlers etc... but i havent found a dummy instruction either.. and i freely admit i'm a dummy! any pointers would be muchly appreciated.. and if i figure it out i'll post how i did it here ... arietis Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 I installed the contribution but when u click the google checkout button it just refreshes the page.. i've noticed that the configuration for google checkout is pretty picky. if you don't have it set up right then either the google checkout image is 'grayed out' or does nothing when you click it. the contribution does work -- i've got it working on a couple of sites now. but it does take some time to get the configuration set correctly in order for it to work. Thanks, i've managed to get it working. The reason why it was refreshing the page was because i had moved the button inside the form that contains the update cart button. I took it out of there and it seems to be working fine ... i haven't made any real purchases yet though so i guess time will tell if it really is working correctly .. See my problem lies with getting it to appear within my modules. I have installed it twice, and restored to a back up after messing up, and reinstalled. I preserved the file structure as well, manually moved the files. I just cant get it to appear as an option under payment my URL is www.mrfragrances.com if thats any help. thank you! Guest Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 I am also having GC issues. :huh: Although I think that I have managed to get it integrated well enough - The button shows up properly and has a sandbox notification underneath - if you click on the button, it takes you away to a GC page with the message "Oops! We were unable to process your request". Does anyone know how to fix this? Or even if it is a problem with osc or my GC account? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm pretty sure that my wife won't be too happy if I break the computer and the window by passing the first through the closed latter!!!
