Changering Checkout Decimal From a Comma to a Period

I hope I've posted this in correct forum. If not I sincerely apologise.

We have Patrasys as our payment processor. When a customer clicks 'Confirm Order' they are taken to the payment page on Patrasys.com's server-side.

However, if the order is £1000 or higher, the Patrasys checkout system changes the total to £1.00

Having spoken with a Patrasys meber of staff, they informed me that Patrasys will only work if the order value is written as such -

1000.00 or 1000

NOT

1,000.00 or 1,000

However, we have all of this set up correctly via the Admin. Our prices DO display £1000.00. There are no commas. Patrasys told us that some code needs altering somewhere in the 'Confirm Order' button. Is this correct or not? If not, how do we do this?

I hope I made myself clear on this problem.

I look forward and appreciate anf help in advance :)

EDIT: "Changering?" lol...Should say "Changing"
