kiobe Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Hello all, My name is Tony, and I have a website but I'd like to change to osC for many reasons. My first, in what looks like the beginning of many questions is once I have downloaded the osC site file, how do I begin manipulating it to meet my requirements. I did download it once but I'm not sure which file to open and even funnier, what to do with it after it's been opened. Do I need a host first? Well, one question at a time ^ Thanks in advance!! Sincerely, Tony
Jack_mcs Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Welcome Tony. You may find many of the answers you need in this thread. But as for getting started, yes, you will need a host. You should get one that offers Linux servers. It is not required but there will be problems otherwise. burt Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 You don't need a host to get started. Install on your home computer, I've sent you a link to a "1 click" installer of this.
