Hello Folks,

 

Is it by any means possible to show ..X amount of product from each category in thumbnail.

 

Let's say I have 3 category and i would like 4 thumbnail from each of the 3 category to be shown on the index . So row 1 will have 4 thumbnail from category 1 then row 2 will have 4 thumbnail from second category on row2 and show on.

 

any guidance how to achieve this would be appreciable. I won't mind if this require some paid attention or consultation.

With some code modification it is possible to get the needed solution.

 

Presently oscommerce does not have this functionality by default.

 

Suggestion:

Create a Home page Module.

This module will have three rows of images.

Each row populated by product images of one category.

 

Should not be too complex to get it applied.
