allenbrothers Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 The reviews infobox and reviews page works great on my site, but when you go to a specific review the reveiwer, date, review and rating are all messed up. (see a review example here) I have searched forums for an answer and no one else seems to have this problem. I've tried digging into the code (I can manage a lot of basics), but this is a little over my head If anyone could even point me in the right direction, or suggest a solution I can usually dig in and figure it out. PLEASE HELP!

I have the random reviews in my left column, which is great, but when you click through it to read the review, I get the picture, the date added, the user id that left the review, and the title. Everything works, except the actual review isn't there. I think it is something in product_reviews_info.php. Perhaps around line 103. I see everything mentioned but nothing about Product_review_description or any sort of link to an actual review id. Anyway, I'm very new to this, but since I atleast get the product picture, reviewer id and date added, maybe I can be of some help. I can send you my product_reviews_info in a txt if you want to compare. Oh, and what I did as a temporary fix was add the product reviews v2.2 contrib that puts the review on the product page. I then turned off the random reviews in my left column. Also, the contrib came with a "notifications" button and write review button, but I took them out. I instead put an add review button and notifications button on the left column in includes/column_left. My site is alittle different than yours, and I am still hoping to have a working random reviews feature in my left column, but I thought I'd share.

I think it is odd because my reviews are pulling data from somewhere (i.e. you get letters and that weird 1961 date) but I just can't figure out where. I will also check out the review v2.2. I did a search for a newer reviews mod but couldn't find anything. Now that I know the name of what I am looking for I should be able to find it.
