Warning: gethostbyaddr() [function.gethostbyaddr]: Address is not a valid IPv4 or IPv6 address in /home/hobbiesp/public_html/admin/whos_online.php on line 401 Am I being hacked ? All help appreciated

When i access a oscommerce site from my office pc because I am on a network which consists of 3 ip address ranges i get the same warning. I think its because OSC trys to obtain 1 ip address for each user, if there is more than 1 ip address then that error is reported.
