web-project
re-check the path to your oscommerce installation Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
lightshine
re-check the path to your oscommerce installation I don't think it is the issue of the installation path. I have tried to import remote site image from Easy Populate but failed. It only show me the text of the remote site link of the image like this -> www.abc.com/main/test/testingpic.jpg, landed up with no picture shown on the product_info page I have also tried to ask for support for this feature of import of remote picture from website but was rejected by the supporting thread, saying that they don't support import of remote image link!!! :o
Guest
my question has nothing to do with the installation path or easy populate. The path for the image is correct, thats not the problem. The problem is that i have so many product that when i up load my files/product some of the Images that the file asks for are not their, because their is no file to be connect to the product. What i am asking is, is their a way to get ride of the broken image (the red x with the alt txt). just not show that it is a broken image or even tell oscommerice to put in a default image in every broken image file

Here is what you need to do. A. read the Easy populate instructions and you can set the default image of your choice. When you upload your csv leave the images that are broken field blank. If you have broken images I'm assuming that you made a query that adds .jpg or.gif to the part number and uploaded all of your images in the image directory. Problem is that all of your images arent in that directory. I learned this and found the parts with broken images (red x) and set my default image in the easy populate and left those parts image files blank and it replaces with a default. Hope this helps. Guest
When you upload your csv leave the images that are broken field blank. thats sounds great but the only problem is that i dont know which ones dont have pictures, that is untill i upload the file and go through my entire site. Also i have 18 thousand products and to weeve through all of that product and delete every product image in the csv file would take days. i was just hoping that their was a contrubute or code or something in oscommerice that could replace or get rid of the broken image sign (red x and alt text) in the site completely
