Guest
Hi My dropship supplier provides an automatic XML feed which keeps my store up to date with available stock. Unfortunately this will also overwrite my unique product descriptions with their generic ones. I have read elsewhere that I can write a 'script' to reapply my own descriptions but I'm not sure how this would be done. I presume I need to save my own descriptions (and product id) somewhere which I then apply to the new XML. Any advice on this would be appreciated. Thanks in anticipation. This will require special programming for each unique case and each unique field. My best advice is to hire a programmer well-versed in data feeds.
