OSC and Skipjack

I am not sure if I did not do something during the installation process as I do not see any transactions in my account registers on the skipjack site.

FIrst I established a developer account on the skipjack site.

I installed all the module revisions for skipjack from http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1412

- entered the Vital HTML Serial Number and my Developer Serial Numbers

I changed the preferences-response files in my skipjack account to point to the checkout_process.php page on the site.

Went through the order process which appeared to run without error, and I also received my confirmation email from the osc app.

I logged into the skipjack site into my developer account and did not see any transactions in my register.

I changed the module to use the Nova Serial Number

Went through the order process again, which apeared to run file without error.

However, I still did not see any transactions on the skipjack register

Did I do or not do something ?

Never mind I got it to work after finding a different module update for skipjack. However it is not accepting

standard american express cards. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm trying to get the skipjack module working also. Where did you find your updated version? I have only found one module in the contributions.

Let me share my experience with Skipjack (we opened an account in 2006) - this is by far THE WORST IT company that is out there. This is NOT a joke. I beg you to find a company whose services simply do not perform CONSTANTLY, whose web site is worse (this is the only web site I have seen so far that has No LINKS - you have to close the page because you can't go anywhere - this is after processing a batch for instance).

We process membership dues once a month for 500+ members. The file upload fails constantly, you call them - they admit there is a problem on "their end ", put you on hold for 10+ minutes and then ask you to try again. In the month of April I have already tried 3 times and still no luck. The level of support is very low, tech personnel is rude.

The reporting module is a joke, overall a very cumbersome system to use.

We are moving toward changing the provider, the only reason that stopped us so far is high cost (we had to reprogram our own system to work with Skipjack Financial Services) but this move is unavoidable.

Avoid them at any cost!

Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions about my experience with Skipjack.
