thekingfisher Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Hello All, I'd like to create a simple system for affiliates where an affiliate will receive a commission when a sale is made. The affiliate code could be passed through by query string or entered during checkout and maybe I'll integrate it with CCGV. At this point I'm thinking that I just need to pass an affiliate code variable into the session cookie, or it's entered by the customer during checkout, and check for it after payment clears and then write my code to credit the affiliate and make a new db table for that purpose and I guess a little work in the admin area for managing affiliates. Am I over simplifying this?
