Looking at the customer screen, I can tell that the individual logged into our shop several times, and the date of the last login. I would like to determine the person's IP address. What's the best way to find this out? Is there a log file of some sort? Thanks in advance.

Who's Online in the Admin console will tell you the IP address of somebody who is currently active on your site. There are contributions for IP tracking like Supertracker and Visitor's Web stats.
