Hi all

I hope this is the correct forum to use for this question...

I'm selling traffic signs etc. online, and now i will try to set up a new shop in osCommerce, but i have discovered a major problem - at least for me

I'm looking for a way / a contribution that could solve the problem.

example: I have a sign, which is produced in 5 different sizes and 3 different material types:

Each size have a different price and each material have a different price.

What i would like to achieve, is that our customers selects the size of the sign and then selects the material, as shown below:

These two selections will then calculate the total price of the sign.

The major problem - as i see it - is that the material price isn't the same for all sizes.

The only solution rigth now - as far as i see - is to make the selections like shown below, and that really could cause some problems...(we have 20 diff. sizes and 6 types of material.) - and it will be very easy to make "wrong" choices.

Is is in anyway possible to solve this problem ?

I really hope i have illustrated the problem correct.....

Thanks in advance

You could just have one selection as shown in your last image:

Type A 10x10

Type B 10x10

Type C 10x10

Type A 30x30

and so on.

Hi Jack

Well i could do that...problem is, that i will have a dropdownlist with more than 120 choices.... and i really would like to make it more simple and userfriendly....

I have seen a function used in Interspire Shoppingcart, where it's possible to type in all available combinations in some sort of attribute list, therefore i hoped that some kind of attribute combination script was available for osCommerce

But thanks for your answer
