want2be Posted February 8, 2009 Share Posted February 8, 2009 I don't know what i've done. My site was working fine. I had store pick up working. Also free shipping over $100 and Australia post shipping modules installed and all was working fine. Then i went to check the psotage costs of an order for someone and when i went to checkout no shipping method buttond are being displayed. I remved the australia post shipping modules leaving just store pick up and free over $100. My order was for less than $100 so it correctly tells me i only have this option available (implying store pick up) but still the button does not display. As I can't get any shipping methods to display nobody can now complete the order checkout. I need help to figure out why. Did you test the shippig, it was working fine and then within minutes you wnt back and it was not. Or It was working several days/weeks/months ago the last time you looked and now it is not. Well i had an order in my shopping cart from my previous testing of the changes i made for free shipping over $100 and also show all available shipping options without a default button. Then i had a question yesterday from a customer about the shipping costs of an order. The items required I already had in my cart along with a couple of others. When i checked my shopping cart it had the calculated shipping charges. So i removed the unwanted items from the cart and tried to calculate shipping again. Ever since there are no buttons appearing in the shipping methods. Im not sure exactly what changes i have made since i originally created that order. Certainly i added the carousel last week. I also tried to add CSS Buttons but then took it back out. I added header tags SEO contrib, sitemap SEO contrib, and google adsense all which appear to be working fine. I didn't change anything i expected would affect the shipping so i didn't retest it. So the last time i tested it would have been in December. There is nothing in the cgi error log. I have now isolated this problem to the freeamount contrib not working. It will work if the order has reached the free shipping amount. If the order value is less than the free shipping amount the shipping methods are not being displayed. I have removed the freeamount contrib until i can figure out why its not working. If the order value is less than the free shipping amount the shipping methods are not being displayed.I have removed the freeamount contrib until i can figure out why its not working. So at the moment i can't offer free shipping with minimum amount. I think I had that problem and made the free amount the highest two (I have one for domestic and one for international) numbers in the sort order.
