showerlady Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 (edited) Hello All  I have added a product with a minimum quantity, but would like for the customer to be able to add additional pieces. I have been adding the option for additional pieces by using the Product Attributes, but here is how I have been doing this: Quantity Additional Pieces = 1 (I would add this using the Option Value) then I would have to add the price for 1 in the Value Price. I would have to do this for each addition. Sometimes up to 20 or more pieces. Very Repetative :( My Question: How can I add a quantity box where the customer can type in the additional pieces desired and have it calculate this for me? If you haven't already guessed, I am very new to this and would deeply appreciate step-by-step instructions. I have a guy that normally does all of this for me....but he has been charging me an arm & a leg everytime I need to add something. Thank you so much in advance!! *Love this site. Everyone is so helpful :D Edited February 8, 2009 by showerlady Quote

showerlady Posted February 8, 2009 Author Posted February 8, 2009 See the Attribute Qty contribution in My Addons. It might do what you want. Jack Thank you so much for your reply. I shamefully admit that I don't know the first thing about any of this. I'm Sceeered, Jack  I don't know if this is an appropriate question, but since I'm chicken, (with the amount of time involved in adding this) what do you think would be a fair price for someone to make this addition to my admin? Is this a tacky question? I'm afraid I'll break it :( (I'm sort of a bull in a china shop) Any suggestions on something super easy that I could try out first (to gain some confidence), then move on to the bigger stuff? Some super easy add on? I also am not sure how much access I have to any of my files. (as I'm sure now you can guess why). I did print out the install you suggested, now I just need to move my other foot...(baby steps). Quote
