moezbud
I'm curious how other people out there go through the development process. Do you maintain a separate test site where you modify and test your code and then migrate it to the "live" site? Or, do you just use the "store closed" contribution and plow ahead with your changes? I'm up live and I'm looking at putting in some new, fairly sizeable contributions. I'm afraid that the implementation of these may take a little time and I don't necessarily want the live site to be down that long. On the other hand, getting another, parallel test site seems a little excessive if I'm only going to use it a few times a year. Anyway, I just want to see how a few of you experienced users handle that. Thanks! Moez
Jack_mcs
A common method is to install the EasyPHP or XAmpp package on your computer. You can then test from that.
