lilac-cat Posted February 6, 2009 Share Posted February 6, 2009 Hi, I am a newbie here so I appologise if I am posting in the wrong place or not making sense as I know nothing about php, ftp ect........! I recently bought a ready made oscommerce webshop off ebay (£200) I have control over the admin panel but it seems very basic to what some of you have been talking about on here. eg.......I cannot change, add/remove the boxes or text on the pages. My supplier has an udated product rss feed daily that I can update the stock on my site but I do not seem to have access to the parts of my site necessary to do this. My supplier has a software package for sale (£150) which they say is very simple to install but I am affraid to purchase incase I am needed to go into sections of the site I cannot get into. Is it normal that with pre-made site that the buyer has limited access? The person I bought from has been less than helpful! Hope someone can help or come up with any idea's for me.
