Move a site

On advise from my ISP i uploaded to the http/catalog dir

I now need to move this to the /httpdocs folder for public web address access but when i do this all the links are incorrect

How can i achieve this in a simpler way?

you need to edit the configure.php file to update the path to your directory.

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

You need to move all the code in the directory http/catalog to http/ and to edit both configure.php files so the paths in it reflect this change..

 

/includes/configure.php

 

and

 

/admin/includes/configure.php
