sub menu not working in fly-out menu

Hi I have installed a vertical fly-out menu with sub categories but the sub categories are not showing within the menu, I have tried this on a few menus and they all react the same way with no drop down menus or fly out menus showing, any help on this would be great. Site is still in the design process.
