Gshot Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Hi Guys, Thanks for all your help so far. Now I have designed an OSC store for a client, its been running for over 4 months now in a folder called /new/ So the URL is www.yourdomain.com/new to access the OSC store. My client had an old html based store in the root of his domain and wanted to run both the new store and the old store together for a few months. Well now the time has come to do away with the old store located in the domain root at www.yourdomain.com My question is... is there an easy way to divert all traffic using htaccess so that if anyone tries to access the old site at the domain root, they would be automatically directed to the new store in the /new/ folder? I would prefer to do this as opposed to delete the old files and then change the file structure of the new store. Any advice would be great. BTW Users are finding links to the old store via google on other pages than the old store index, so it would need to be a 'folder wide ' divert I would put in place. Thanks in advance.
