Value Price doesn't add to the product price in shopping cart....dang....:(

In the Product Attributes I have some option values that have price values. Ex. size - xl 8.0000 prefix is + .

When I add the option to the product and go to shopping cart the product price stays the same as in being original and it doesn't add $8 to the total....My head is spinning...I looked all over the web and padmin. Just can't figure it out.

PLEASE HELP!!!!
