pollywog_uk
I've been told by Lycos that I have to move my sites to a new host (Strato) by 28.02.09 when they will delete all the info from their servers. I've gone to do backups on my OScommerce shop using the Database Backup Manager and got the following Error 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'option,ordering,admin_menu_img,iscore,params from jos_components' at line 1 select id,name,link,menuid,parent,admin_menu_link,admin_menu_alt,option,ordering,admin_ menu_img,iscore,params from jos_components [TEP STOP] What do I do? I'm not very good with this sort of thing so any help would be very much appreciated. My shops been running since 2006 and I'm scared of loosing all the customer & order information. pollywog_uk
I've now removed a few other portals from my website such as a phpbb forum & 2 joomla sites from other subdomains to see if that would help in my backing up the oscommerce site, I'm now getting the following error when I try doing a backup in the admin area of oscommerce. Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /data/members/paid/p/o/pollywog.co.uk/htdocs/shop/admin/backup.php on line 118 Can anybody help me please? wijnendael
Can you tell me if you solved the problem as i have also just recently installed Livezilla and now have the same problem. When i am in admin/tools and backup i cannot now make a backup without a error. The error given on the screen is 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'option' at line 1 show fields from option [TEP STOP] I have tried lots of different changes that have been found on the web and in the forum but the error is still there. I am using osc 2.3.1 so i think the database manager mentioned above will not work in it. Can someone please help me with a solution to the problem so i can again make my regular backups.
