dhildebra Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 I set up a downloaded product (25MB) and tested it, but now I have SOME customers complaining about incomplete file downloads. After working with my host provider (iPOWER) it looks like a server script timeout (max_execution_time) is limited to 60 seconds. Depending on the connection speed, 60 seconds isn't long enough to download a 25MB file. iPOWER is telling me this is a global server parameter that can't be overridden with by increasing the max_execution_time to >60 seconds in the PHP.INI file. (I tried it and it didn't work). They want to sell me a VSP server for $49.95/mo instead of my base plan of $99/year. Anyone have any suggestions? THANKS!
