pages Posted January 28, 2003 Share Posted January 28, 2003 I upgrades tep 2.1 to last week oscommerce cvs2.2 and everything looks too nice. Thanks all stuff. Il don't know if this is a bug or a (bad) future. When I upgraded, osc created new descriptions for my products for any of the 3 languages I had allready declared in tep2.1 and put inside the content of the unique and original product description. That's fine till here, cause this enables multilingual shop for all products even if all descriptions are not yet translated. But, when for one reason (all menus translations weren't available for new version), I desactivated one language, all product descriptions for that language were deleted. Is this normal or is this a bug ? By any way, I think this should be possible to desactivate and reactivate a language, like for maintenance purpose, without loosing precious data in multilingual products discription. Also, some strange behavio followed that. No orders apeared then. I think this is also related to language substraction. I think one could be able to see orders and products independantly of the language order were proceeded, because admin uses only one language to administrate his shop, often his native language. Perhaps mail notifications and invoice send would be in customers language, but admin must be able to acces all data independent the customers language.
