TMJ
Hi everyone, I'm sorry if the answer to my question has been already discussed somewhere else (excuse me I'm a new) but I did look . I would like to know how to give someone access to the admin panel but only for the sections relating to reports and orders customers etc. They don't want to be involved in adding stock etc so i would like to lock them out of the parts that involve updating the site if possible, but allow them to see the bits that interest them. Is this possible? Tani

TMJ
Many thanks, will check it out Hi again, and many thanks for the last tip, everyone's so very helpful here, I'm very grateful for any assistance. After installing the Administration Access Level Accounts 2.0 contribution ( I think its working so far but i'm so new to this!) I have logged in and set up my own password as top level administrator. Next what it was I was really trying to do is set up another level of access for the person who will not edit the content etc. but need to access the customers, orders etc and reports. I set up a new admin member and ticked all the boxes I wanted them to have access to, but when I save and go out, I cant see where it is to give them a password to enter the admin on their restricted access. Also when I click their name on the admin members list, it shows me a list including categories etc and stock which I dont want them to access. Has anyone any ideas please? TMJ
Sorry this one has been resolved, but will leave it here in case anyone else new like me ... the password was automatically generated and emailed to me (how dumb can I be!) and it works brilliantly! Am just pretty overwhelmed how much support there is and how easy it is to do most things, was i suppose expecting it to be tricky.
