Database Editor

Hello....

I just installed the Database Editor contrib by eriknn and when logging in, I get a

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/apluscp1/public_html/catalog/admin/includes/boxes/tools.php on line 34.

This is in the line that the instructions gave to add.

"Add the following line to "admin/includes/boxes/tools.php"

'<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_DATABASEEDIT) . '" class="menuBoxContentLink">' . BOX_TOOLS_DATABASEEDIT . '</a><br>' .

When I remove this line, I log in normally without parse error. But with it, I get the pase error and my tools is missing from menu.

Has anbody tried this install, and if so, did you have to do something differently?

I need to change my database tables and don't really know how to do this so I thought this would be a better way.

I have figured out the solution my friends.....

I was using cpanel editor under My Files, to edit the tools.php and adding the referenced line addition from instructions of DB Editor.

I deleted entry and used oscommerce's File Manager to edit tools.php and all is well. If anybody needs help to resolve adding DB Editor, give me a jungle as I now feel comfortable to help. It is working perfectly....

Many thanks to erin who gave the contrib....
