Xtream Desi
Hi! Can someone please help me out here. I'm fairly new to programming and stuff. I want to make a website based on this osCommerce Script. I was searching for some free templates and I found some but they were not attractive at all. I finally came across this template which I thing will suit my needs. But unfortunately this template is designed for previous vrsion of osCommerce. Can someone please please please transfer this previous version template for osCommerce into the newer version so that I'm able to use it for the V2.2 osCommerce. Please please please, I really need help with this. As I said, I'm fairly new to this stuff and I can do basic programming and basic graphics. But if someone can PLEASEEEEEEEE transfer this for me, I would greatly appreciate it. I can do my own graphic editing. But really really really need help with this. The link to download the free template is given below. When I try replaceing the files of this download with the original new version of osCommerce package, It gives me alot of errors and also the admin page is not secure and looks different as well. Please help me out here. Thanks. www.freetemplatesonline.com/templates/osCommerce-Templates-50.html Edited February 1, 2009 by Jan Zonjee

Guest
Hahahaha! I'm sorry to inform you that I was SHUT DOWN on www.oscommerce.com/forums by other members of the forum for discussing this exact topic. They were initially quite dismissive and rude in the way they handled my FIRST posting on this venue, so don't expect professionalism from everyone here. Actually, some of the people here are a sweet bunch of fellas, but some are not - especially the one who then went and tried to HACK my OSCommerce site and managed to hack a honeypot! Little did he know that I implemented invisible IP logging on the Admin Module! Hahahaha! Expect a little call from the authorities little boy! Hee-hee... Anyway - if you want to continue to follow the STEP BY STEP instructions that I was putting together, just visit this website: http://www.authentic-closet.com/upgrade.php I've not played around with the content yet so the formatting is all screwed up (I just dumped a cut & paste from the thread on this website to mine, where censorship regarding mentioning commercial suppliers is not an issue) and I will turn to it and update it as I move along my little experience moving Milestone 2 (or MS2) to Release Candidate 2 (or RC2) by way of Release Candidate 1 (or RC1). When it comes to OSCommerce, there's a bunch of people in your boat - hang tight. But if you are running MS2 do remember to SECURE YOUR ADMIN SITE! Hahahaha!
