Right Hand Column

I have installed 2.2rc2a and made some alterations to make the site match (have had a shoping cart running a while so a lot of the files I just copied back over after making sure they weren't files that had been updated) I have removed the column right but there are some links that I can't get rid of and I can't work out where they have come from, can anyone point me in the right direction please.

If you then select a product it takes you to a page with a 'Notify me of updates' bit that I don't want either but can't find out how to get rid of.

comment out that box in includes/column_right.php.

 

ex)

 

//include(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'product_notifications.php');

 

I believe there are 2 instances of this, so comment both of them out.

 

You can do the same for any other box that you don't like.

Thanks for that, I thought I had commented out all of the lines at one point but obviously not done it right, that is what you get for working at it for too long, when I look this morning it is obvious!
