Possible htaccess Rewrite

I was having trouble with my oscommerce site and a category issue.

 

For example:

 

Category 15 was the main category with multiple subcategories nested within (Category 14 was a subcategory).

example.com/commercial-tools-c-15_14.html

Category 15 was removed for seo purposes. The new result is:

example.com/tools-c-14.html

 

Unfortunately google shows the following:

example.com/tools-c-15_14.html

example.com/tools-c-14.html

The duplicate content is the only actual problem. The category is 2 years old, has a PR of 3. Is there a need to fix this? If so, does anyone have advice on where to look for a solution. Should I delete category 14 and just transfer the meta data to a brand new category page?
