Let's see what we have here - sucks

I swear I looked through topics and contributions before posting this.. and I just can't find anything! If I missed the solution to this because I'm an idiot feel free to call me out on it.

Is there a contribution to change the "Let's see what we have here" to perhaps something that makes sense like the the name of the category your in? I can't figure out why it just wasn't written that way but it's not. Now, I can handle taking the line out or changing to say something else but I'd love to see it change dynamically to what the page is about.

Has anyone seen anything like this? Did I completely blow by it in my search for a solution? I feel like this is something a lot of people would use so I find it hard to believe it doesn't exist.

Dont rely on the forum search as its not totally the best, try google and before the search term put site:oscommerce, for example i used site:oscommerce let;s see what we have her and i got the following

Wow. I just typed this in Google:

"Let's see what we have here" site:www.oscommerce.com/forums

Guess what: 773 results.

You know? I tried to search "Let's see what we have here" directly in the forum and it kept failing. I didn't even think to go to google. Sorry for the dumb post. It's been a long week.

EDIT* And my answer is the second post down... *hang my head in shame*

The search feature of the forum does suck. The only time I use it is for searching something in like a thread for a contribution. For all other searches Google works better... You just need to know :)

Peculiar. Google now tells me there are about 739 results (including this thread)

Now I get 1200

Safe search on / off made no difference.

Is someone adding more? Is this a more commom problem than I thought?

So the Brits get more search results than the Dutch (www.google.nl). I'm appalled at such blatant discrimination... or were they trying to make up for the earlier 73? (I got 1180 by the way...).

Look on the bright side, that is an extra 20 results you don't need to look through to find the one post with the solution.

Multiply that by every search you do (I trust google to be biased the same way on all searches or I'll be writing letters of complaint to the Chairman of our Parish Council, a most influential man!!!!!!)

Think of all the extra time you will have over your lifetime to ................................... (fill in as appropriate)

So I don't expect to hear any more bitterness over the injustices of life, especially as there is some damn fine gin in Holland to help you forget as well.

Hmm, giving you Dutch courage I understand.

If only I could save that much time I could write volume 2 of War and Peace.

On another subject have you seen any documentation to go with http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/37.

It has a good section on how to write your own shipping module and also has other intriguing items in the index.

Unfortunately these go to

http://marune/tep22/documentation/xxxx.php

Looks like member no 6 started to do some documentation .....

Never seen that. I did meet him once in an osC meeting in Antwerp. Not too long after that (I think) he left as a developer. Don't know where is to be found on the net either.

The link on his profile still goes to an active site but doesn't look like it is really pushing osc and the documentation is not mentioned.
