Guest
All snapshots from 22-01 to 27-01-2003 have a major bug!!!!! After you install the store and start working with them, admin and catalog modules are crashing!!!! I mean that when you type the url of your site...all you see is a blank page in a ADMIN dir or CATALOG dir!!! The error appears after 2 or 3 hours of work or after 2 or 3 days!!!! I installed OS on the other servers 5 months ago and everithing is fine!!! One of server is the same which I've installed OS now! That's the reason I belive that is no problem with my server hosting. I'm interested of an older snapshot of OS (2.2 of course). Thx [email protected]

Berkz
Dude you got to be more specific... Where you working on the site or did you just install the site 2-3 days ago and you haven't edited 1 line of code? Regards, Berkz
Jan0815
I have osCommerce (current CVS) up and running under at least three different operating systems and it works as it should. It must be something on your configuration. Help us with some more details. Opearting system, what webserver software, what PHP-Version, what mysql version, did you check the error logs etc. <sarcasm> Do you really think that such a bug would go by unnoticed for months? ;-) </sarcasm> You can't have everything. Guest
There were no errors so i didn't have what to check. The only error is a blank page. I changed the hosting provider and everything is OK Thx for all P.S. I used - a few months ago - a script wich help you to upload a bigger image beside the small one. When the costumer click on a pic. a big one appeared in a new window. I seek in Contrib. section but I didn't find at all. All i could see is a something similar but not as good and simple as i was looking for.
TB
Didn't Harald add the gZip contribution to the CVS a little while ago? I haven't been able to get this contribution working on my local Windows 2000 machine... yet it works fine on my web server which runs Linux. The problem I have with my local host is that it shows a blank page instead of the site... point I'm trying to get at here is; was your site hosted on a Windows server? Hope this helps solve the issue... Cheers, Tony "The price of success is perseverance. The price of failure comes much cheaper."
Stream
If you have gzip compression enabled it is a common problem that you sometimes get blank pages. Same problem with the phpBB2 forum.
