When the status of an order is set to delivered is it possible for OS Commerce to generate an email to the customer saying the order is on its way. NodsDorf Posted January 29, 2009 Share Posted January 29, 2009 Humm, I thought OSC did that already. It always has for my website. If you change the status of the order to delivered via the admin panel there are 2 boxes that can be checked before you hit update. 1 Notify Customer (also adds the notes you put in the comment section to the email) 2 Append Comments (this will add the comments to the customers View Order History page.) If you uncheck 1 then they don't get an email, if you uncheck 2 they don't see the info you put in there inside their Order History viewer. Unless something has changed with a newer version or you're setting order statuses with a 3rd party program I'm not sure. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
