problem using Ultimate SEO URLs

hi friends, i am asif, and a php developer. i installed Ultimate SEO URLs v2.1. it installed successfully, and rewrites the url but the browser/server dosen't display the requested page, instead gives 404 error message, saying "no such page to display";

plz help how can i bring this addon working

Are you on a linux server? (needs mod_rewrite so wont work on WinDoze)?

 

Have you put the correct code in .htaccess/

 

Have you set RewriteBase correctly?

 

Is the server set up with sufficient permissions to .htaccess override.?

 

e.g.

 

	Options FollowSymLinks
AllowOverride All

 

PHP Dev eh? I would have thought this would have been pretty obvious.
