How to show the sub-categories list all the time?

Dear All,

 

Right now my categories left menu is:

Categories 1(xx)->number count

Categories 2 (xx)

Categories 3 (xx)

 

When I click the Categories 1 the sub-categories is showing:

Categories 1 (xx)

Sub-categories 1(xx)

Sub-categories 2(xx)

Sub-categories 3(xx)

Categories 2 (xx)

Categories 3 (xx)

 

How to show all the sub-categories in the categories left menu all the time? And how to delete or hide the number count (xx) after all the categories?

 

I like my categories left menu to be showing like this way:

Categories 1

Sub-categories 1

Sub-categories 2

Sub-categories 3

Categories 2

Sub-categories 1

Sub-categories 2

Sub-categories 3

Sub-categories 4

Sub-categories 5

Sub-categories 6

Categories 3

Sub-categories 1

Sub-categories 2
