mikepaim
Hello, I'm having difficulty processing a credit card on my new site. As far as I know, the authorize.net info is correct. I called authorize.net to verify the userid, etc. Here's the error I receive: "There has been an error processing your credit card Please try again and if problems persist, please try another payment method." The only thing I can think of is maybe it needs SSL installed. We haven't done that yet. Any ideas? Thanks, Mike
mikepaim
Found the solution. The Auth Token in the Authorize.net setup was incorrect. Changed out the token and it worked the first time. Mike
lyndat
Where is this auth token, in oscommerce or in authorize.net? I am the ISP owner and helping a customer get authorize.net working, configured the module fine, according to authorize.net customer service, but get "Error processing your Credit Card, please try again" in red in the oscommerce page? Order never hits authorize.net thanks - and english please, I am not a developer. Lynda Found the solution. The Auth Token in the Authorize.net setup was incorrect. mikepaim
The auth token and the other Authorize.net values are in: Log into the admin: (domainname.com/admin) Modules > Payment > Authorize.net Credit Card AIM > Edit The "Login ID" works like a Username The "Transaction Key" works like a password (auth token) For Authorize.net, the user will have to log into their account to get one. If they forgot what it is, it will have to be regenerated. there's no place on the authorize.net site to view the existing key. Let me know if this doesn't work for you. lyndat
Thanks, already did that, and got further than last time, but still the error. My module doesn't say authorize.net AIM, do I need to upgrade? mikepaim
You may need to upgrate but it should be fine if you've got the latest version of oscommerce. there's actually two modules "AIM" and "SIM". AIM is used for automatic charging of the card which is what most people do. Here's what my settings look like for "Authorize.net Credit Card AIM": Version: 1.0 (online status) Visit Authorize.net Website Enable Authorize.net Credit Card AIM True Login ID (put your value here) Transaction Key (put your value here) MD5 Hash Transaction Server Live Transaction Mode Live Transaction Method Authorization Payment Zone --none-- Set Order Status default Sort order of display. 0 cURL Program Location C:PHP5ext Also, you should make sure that cURL is set up on the server and working. also that the path is correct.
