Thanks Claire If it is on the web, it is live, like it or not. Does it have to be on the web for email to work? No. It will work if you have it installed on your PC under wamp or wamp. Some extra tweaking may be required. Does the store have to be set up for email to work correctly? Yes. Is it easy to set up? OSC out of the box (ie downloaded from the blue solutions tab at the top of the page and correctly installed) will work once you enable emails. If your e-mail is not working and your store is not on the web, then 1.. your store is not set up correctly for email, and/or 2.. your webhost does not support email, and/or 3.. you are using a template that has been butchered so badly that e-mail will never work, and/or 4.. you are using an invalid email address, which goes back to 1..
