Guest
Hello, thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to help. The last hurdle I have to jump in my osCommerce installation is the Contact Us form. The form doesn't work for some reason. I fill it out, click send and no message ever arrives. I am on a Windows server so I set the email transport method to "SMTP." My email address is [email protected] and I have tested the email address to make sure it is working. Still no luck sending messages. I have no idea how to troubleshoot this and was hoping someone could offer a suggestion. Can this be hardcoded in the email.php file? If so, how to do it (I'm a PHP novice)? Thank you, Becki Robins

Guest
I would just move to a Linux server Becki its where osc works best.Nic Hello, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately for me it's not that simple. I have half a dozen sites all hosted with the same service provider, and many of them use ASP which works only on a Windows server. I can't have only one site switched to Linux since that's not the way this provider offers their service packages; moving only one site would double the amount of money I'm currently spending on my package. So while it's feasible provided that I can't find any other solution, it's not really going to be the most practical or cost effective way to go. I would rather just find a solution to this problem. I have several PHP email scripts that work fine on my Windows server and in a pinch I could probably figure out how to integrate them into osCommerce. Since I'm not really a PHP person it would be very time consuming, though. Surely there is a simple way to troubleshoot this problem or just hard code a fix into one of the PHP files?
