Frustrating error

Hi all, I'm Mike. I'm new to php. I set up my website in HTML but wanted to do more so I am going with osCommerce but I find the learning curve for php much steeper than html. So yeah, I'm a clueless newbie.... start throwing things at me now.

 

Anyway! I have this error that I can't figure out:

 

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /mnt/w0305/d11/s02/b024950b/www/SoyCandlesbyPhebes/catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 20

 

How do I even know that line 20 is line 20 after I've gotten the file from Filezilla and opened it with Notepad.

Mike Thats not the right file you have posted

The file you need is in your Catalog / includes / languages / english / index.php

You need to make sure line 20 is the same as this

 

define('TEXT_MAIN', '');

then your text goes in between the two single quotes

define('TEXT_MAIN', ' text goes here ');
