run file from browser

Recommended Posts

I have to put a file into my catalog root and then run it from my browser. How do I do this? Sorry, it is probably easy but I am just being cautious.

Thanks Sue

You need to use an ftp program. Filezilla is free and has a help section in the program.

You then use your browser to go to the file.

I know how to do the first bit it just "You then use your browser to go to the file. "

So I load the file via ftp, then what? The instructions I am following say to "place

a file into catalog root and then run it from my browser, then I am to delete this file after use."

What is my browser?

Thanks

Sue

Thank you. I knew it was a silly question, but when you are learning something you know nothing about, sometimes the easiest instructions seem a blur. You have answered it in a language I can understand.

Thanks
