ourbearden
 I have an account with 110mb.com and had an automatic install from my/their control panel. I have read the documentation after the install and performed the following actions: Post-Installation After installing osCommerce follow these steps for post-installation: 1. Rename the catalog/install folder or delete it. 2. Reset the permissions on catalog/includes/configure.php to 644 (if you are still getting the warning message at the top of the page after setting this configure.php files to 644 then set the catalog/includes/configure.php file to 444 which is read only - this happens on some servers that have been updated for security reasons). 3. Set the permissions on catalog/images directory to 777 4. Set the permissions on admin/images/graphs directory to 777 5. Create the directory admin/backups and set the permissions to 777 (this is the folder to store the database backup of your store in the "Tools" section of the store admin). The store admin directory on your server needs to be password protected using .htaccess. Most of the time the server you are hosting your store on has the ability to password protect directories through the server administration area so check with your host. ________________________________________________________________________________ _____________ I still can not configure my store, because the link is not in my control panel. ♥geoffreywalton
THe fact that you have DIR_WS_INCLUDES and DIR_FS_CATALOG embedded in the paths means that the installtion did not finish correctly and populate /admin/includes/configure.php and /includes/configure.php Have a look in there and try correcting the values. You could always try asking nicely in these forums if you get stuck. ourbearden
I thank you for answering my posts. Did you notice the timeline and responces I recieved? I have been asking nicely all up til today. I have been sitting here for the last few DAYS waiting for someone to take notice. As you well know "Time is Money", I was under the impression that these forums harbored people that could help, and would eagerly. At 110mb at leased they tried to keep up with all the new posts that came in. The wait time is no longer that 10 minutes. Here I have waited 2 days for the first post. Guest
110mb are paid to answer those posts. No-one here is getting paid for answering questions. The best way to get help is to post & whilst you are waiting to see if anyone can help, keep on using the search to see if you can find a solution yourself.
