So_Not_an_HTML_genius
Hi, This is probably a very basic question to most of you but I am not sure where to begin. My host provider recently decided to create a folder for everyone they support called "store" which leads to a pre-existing database for a different shopping cart. Four years ago, when I first created my oscommerce store, I put the catalog in a folder called "store" and that is what my database is called. Because the ISP created theirs, if I ever have a problem that they have to get in and fix, they screw up my store due to the folder name. They have told me that I cannot have that folder (then a tier 2 said don't worry about it) but my store is having issues now and I think I am better off moving it. When I first started this store, I didn't use anything call MyPHP which is now what the ISP has. Can anyone tell me or direct me to a tutorial already existing that could help me change the folder and database that my oscommerce is in? I am hoping that will help the existing problem we have. Our store has suddenly starting running like a dog and every so often I get an error that says, "unable to connect to data base server". Thanks, KDB
