gopanos
Hi, I've had an e-shop using osCommerce up and running for a long time now and all of a sudden, it just stopped working. The problem is that although I can see all the categories and subcategories (without their pictures though), when I enter a subcategory and try to browse products I get a message that there are no products. The same exactly thing happens through administration pages. I can't find what caused this but I'm pretty sure that it is not db's fault because I have uploaded an older backup of the db that used to work perfect and problem remained the same. Also, I can see all the products through phpMyAdmin and nothing seems wrong there. Here is a picture of it: I would be really thankful if someone could tell me what is happening there because I have put too much effort on it and now it is pretty much worthless. In case anyone wants to visit website and see it for themselves, just go to: www.e-shop10.gr/shop/ I am looking forward to receiving some piece of help on that. Thanks in advance, Panos

Thanks in advance, Panos Are you sure this happened all of a sudden without anything being changed by either you or your hosting company? SOMETHING had to change. The trick is to figure out what it was, especially if your hosting company is the one who made the change. If you are sure you didn't make any changes, check Server Info and see if you can spot anything.

gopanos
First of all, thank all of you for caring ;) Let me answer one by one. Try looking in yourAdmin / configuration / my store / Use Search-Engine Safe URLs (still in development) is set to FALSE Nic Switched it a couple of times. No change Are you sure this happened all of a sudden without anything being changed by either you or your hosting company? SOMETHING had to change. The trick is to figure out what it was, especially if your hosting company is the one who made the change. If you are sure you didn't make any changes, check Server Info and see if you can spot anything. I have a couple of sites running osCommerce on the same server and they still work fine. So, I can not mention any hosting changes. I'd say you got hacked. See http://e-shop10.gr/shop/images/ Seems true :( Didn't notice that until now because I was looking on different directions. Any ideas what they might have done to cause this problem and how can I fix it ? Also, why doesn't backup make things work right ? Edit: the file on /images folder is uploaded before 5 months (!) as I just saw through ftp but site worked fine until 4 days ago.

For future reference, see http://www.clubosc.com/hacked-oscommerce-e...al-reading.html and check folder permissions. I'd start changing my passwords too.
