I Am Java
I keep getting the warning "Warning Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/hallow5/public_html/cookyx/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file." I keep resetting the permissions to 444, but it doesn't seem to stay at 444. Any help? I'm also getting that same error message. I've tried to change permission from 644 to 444 via 2 ftp servers. But it's still not correcting the problem. It still resets it to 644. Does any have any idea or other fixes? Thanks.

I even tried to delete the file and restore it to no avail. I think we may need to get the hosting company to change it for us.
Guest
Your problem is that with some hosts it isn't possible to remove the owner write priviledges via ftp. Connect to your account via telnet or a ssh connection and use linux to set the permissions on the file, this will fix it for you. if you don't know how to do this I can probabally help.
