hello all,

 

im getting the following error any help would be apriciated

 

Server Requirement Error: register_globals is disabled in your PHP configuration. This can be enabled in your php.ini configuration file or in the .htaccess file in your catalog directory.

 

When i installed oscommerce v2.2 rc2 it installed and when i came to view the live site all the buttons wasnt been displayed!

 

any help would be apriciated

open you pho.ini in and change the value for register_global to on as register_globals = on

osC 2.2rc2a does not require register_globals = on either you don't have rc2a, or have added a add-on that needs it, remove that add-on.

 

 

register_globals = on is a security risks and should be avoided always, some hosts will no longer allow you to set register_globals = on for that reason.

 

 

If you have an onld ms2 site (that needs register_globals = on) upgrade to rc2a
