english.php error

Hi, I made a change around the define('CHARSET', 'iso-8859-1'); line of english.php and it broke my shop (blank pages in shop side) so i reset the code in that area but i still get the blank pages:

heres the content of english.php, i know that this file is at fault because when i replace it with an oscommerce standard one the store works but obviously ive made a lot of changes to the file and didnt really want to have to start that again. just to clarify everything else worked until i changed that line but it still wont work even though i think its the same as before when it was fine.

thanks for the quick reply but i have sorted it :blush: turns out my ftp program chopped off the last bit of the file

one problem im having is with my provacy policy page however, i get ï»¿ in the top left, any ideas?
