Help on integrating osCommerce to this layout

I am trying to integrate osCommerce to an existing web site.

 

The site owner want to keep the layout of the site as it is and add osCommerce shopping features to it.

 

Can someone please give me a few hints as to how I can integrate osCommerce and where should I make changed and also what should be changed.

If you observe the image the layout of shopping cart items (in center) is not how osCommerce shows items. What should I modify to get items in the format as shown in the image?

 

I have managed to get the category listed at the left and remove right column altogether thanks to the documentation available online.

 

I also want to know How we can add and navigate to our custom pages? I am asking this as I am facing problems. If a user has logged in and navigates to any other page which is external to osCommerce all the log-in info gets nulled when the user comes back to any page in the shopping cart. What must be the problem? Am I missing something crucial here?

Nope I have yet not found a solution.
