dmitriy09
Hi, I recently installed oscommerce and im having some issues with the thumbnails, at first the main thumbnails were showing up all squished and distorted, i fixed that by only putting in one dimension and leaving the other as 0. Now when I did that, it affected the product pages and the product description is now on top of the thumbnail pictures (on the product pages). How do I fix that and still have the thumbnail pics on the front page look fine? Thanks in advance.

I have used this contribution, http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/2226 and it work wonderful - and as a side effect the thumbnails are also smaller in file size - giving a faster load of the pages - and less use of bandwidth. dmitriy09
Hi Thank you for your reply. I installed the contribution and it fixed that issue but the thumbnails are very distorted and there are some missing images in the header now (not sure how the header would get affected). If someone could help me out with this i am willing to pay you. thanks again
dmitriy09
I know what the problem is now.. basically there is a small 6x6px spacer file in the header of the layout and for some reason that is the only file that is trying to be run through the thumbnail contribution (i know this because it is sourced to a file "product_thumb.php?img=images/spacer.gif&w=6&h=6"). Why is it trying to do that? Why wouldnt it just go to the normal spacer file (spacer.gif)? Please help me fix this. Thank you. HiThank you for your reply.
