osCommerce

The e-commerce.

No login or password, both lost

Hi,

I'm building a completely new shopping site for a client. The old site was built in 2005. The developer lost the admin user name and password and the site owner can't find it... or probably never had it.

I have complete access to the serving and myPhp. Is there a way to retrieve or reset the logon with the intent of finding the transaction key for Authorize.net? I've read the forums and found a thread to reset it through the Administrators table. However, I don't see an Administrators table. I see "sessions", but that only has random access session ids.

Authorize.net will not issue a new key without reseting the existing one in 24 hours and they have no access to existing keys in the market. Therefore, in order to test my new site and payment system, I need to find the old key. Otherwise, I will take down a site that currently works and may not have the new one operational.

Can someone please help?

Much appreciated!

Paul

Your type of log in will be via htaccess, you can try to use your web panel protect directories to change the passwords and usernames.

Navigate to the admin folder and then set your new criteria.

Thats providing you can, alternatively you have to do the old fashioned way with the .passwds folder and htaccess

Thanks for the quick reply. Got to the old password and login. Thank you! But I got this fatal error.

Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this in /data/12/1/0/124/1163939/user/1236954/htdocs/admin/includes/classes/upload.php on line 31
