www.dnrvinyl.co.uk
Hi everyone Our site www.dnrvinyl.co.uk has become painfully slow and i have no idea why? I have spoke to our hosting company and they are saying it is because our home page is too large. However, it has been fine before and has just come about in the last few days. Has anyone got an idea what it could be just from looking at our site? Thanks in advance Dan
Jan Zonjee
Has anyone got an idea what it could be just from looking at our site? Lots of queries (categories box, counting of products). See this post for suggestions. In one of the RC versions a number of indexes (especially on specials) on tables were added which might be helpful too. www.dnrvinyl.co.uk
Lots of queries (categories box, counting of products). See this post for suggestions. However, the site speed has been fine for nearly 4 years and all of a sudden it has gone like this! Is there any reason it could have suddenly gone like this? Jack_mcs
It might have something to do with the database. You could try running a repair on all of the tables to see if that helps. If you have links to other sites, like for google analytics, it could be the other site is having a problem. In that case, your page won't load until it gets the data it needs from the other site.
