Online taking of money with credit card

If i was the store owner and somebody ordered from me and paid by credit card is there a way that at the end of the day to be able to print off the credit card transactions.

Currently is somebody orders some products over the telephone he can put there card number into their merchant machine in the physical shop and then he can attach the payment peice of paper to the customers paperwork and he also has a copy for his records. If somebody pays online he doesn't have to use his merchant machine and therefore doesn't get a peice of paper for his records.

 

So the question is; Does the seller have the ability to print off the detils of the transaction that has been placed. This question referes to online payments using visa, mastercard and the like.

Do you print an invoice from your store to place in the package with the order? Simply print a second copy for yourself.

Your payment gateway etc will probably have a website that lists the transactions. Some payment modules incorporate themselves into the admin order page - we print that off for each order as a record of payment.
