Making the SSL not give warnings/errors

I was wondering if there were any tricks or tips on getting the pages that use the SSL certificate to NOT throw up errors and warnings (secure/non-secure items pop-up in IE, red exclamation mark in FF, etc.)

Make all of your image and stylesheet links relative to the osCommerce (catalog) folder.
